Online Learning FAQs and Log On Help

During the school closure teachers will aim to post work on SMHW by 9am for each lesson that your child would have had that day. Teachers will explain how they would like the work completed (online, in exercise books, in a revision pack, on a GoogleDoc etc).

A reminder that any student who has forgotten his/her Show My Homework password can access SMHW in the following way:
  1. Sign into Google using your school email address
  2. Open SMHW in another tab, select our school, then click on ‘Sign in with Google.’

Please contact Mr S. Ward (Assistant Headteacher in charge of Curriculum and Assessment) if you are having difficulty accessing SMHW or would like to receive a login for the parent app.

Online Safety Advice for Young People
We would like to draw you attention to the following safeguarding guidance issued by the Local Authority to support digital safety during COVID-19.

With the increased use of online platforms, and the potential for young people to be exposed to more online information, the LA Prevent team wanted to share some useful resources  for parents to discuss at home with their children.

Digital Safety During COVID-19
The Home Office have sent the attached document to be shared with partners, which outlines the dangers online, with a specific reference to radicalisation.

Parent Online Safety Leaflet
Ealing Prevent team have created and attached a short leaflet, which outlines a range of harms which can be found online, with tips on how to mitigate this risk. This can be found on Ealing Family Information Service click here.
