This week we proudly hosted this year’s Carpenter’s Cup, an exciting netball tournament that brought together five schools from across the London Borough of Ealing. The event was a fantastic display of teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship as students competed in a spirited series of matches. Our own students played a crucial role in making the day a success, serving as excellent umpires and dedicated helpers throughout the tournament. Their professionalism and enthusiasm helped ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all involved.

The highlight was a lecture by an eminent immunologist who had worked on the COVID vaccine. We learned all about "tinder for smell" and "mortuary feasting" in the context of the relationship between genes and behaviour on human health.
