Yr 6 transition
Welcome to the transition section of our website.
We have a dedicated microsite to support the transition of Year 6 students to high school. At the moment, this contains the resources prepared for the 2022 cohort but which will still be of use at this point in time. Our team are busy updating these for the 2023 cohort. Check it out here!
We hope you find this area of the website useful and see its contents expand as we get closer to September. Please send any general transition queries to admissions@ephs.ealing.sch.uk. We can’t wait to meet all of our new students and parents and hope you enjoy the virtual activities we’ve created until that is possible.
This year, we were delighted to receive 1000 applications for 240 places in Year 7. The first step in the transition process is for you to confirm with your local authority that you are accepting your place that has been offered by 15th March. If you have applied online you can simply log into your eadmissions account to accept your place. If you have applied on paper you will need to complete and return the reply slip enclosed with your offer letter. If you do not respond to your offer the place may be withdrawn and offered to another child. If you have any issues with your eadmissions account, please contact the support team on 020 8255 5555 or on support@eadmissions.org.uk
Once eadmissions confirm to us that the place has been accepted, we will begin the transition process here. For the fourth year we will be using our online admissions platform, Admissions Plus. This is separate to your eadmissions account with the council. You can expect to receive your username and details to login to this platform and a request to complete our Yr7 admissions form within two weeks of you accepting the place. This will be a similar process to your initial online application. If you feel you would benefit from additional support with completing the online admission form, please contact us on admissions@ephs.ealing.sch.uk
