School Uniform Project Update
Since July the School Uniform Swap have distributed over 830 items of uniform to over 265 families in Ealing.
We have trialled pop up events in publics spaces in Acton, West Ealing and Southall as well as school events across the borough.
This week the very first permanent hub opened at Greenford Library so families can pop in during library opening hours, currently:
10am until 2pm every Wednesday
1pm until 5pm every Thursday
How you can get involved and stay up to date:
We would like to extend the number of permanent hubs so if you have ideas for venues please get in touch. We are also investigating an online system for distribution to widen the reach.
Also, keep your eyes peeled for an Expression of Interest for schools wanting to resource their own area for uniform distribution – if you have space we can help supply generic uniform items.
We can also sometimes support with requests from school, professionals or parents directly – please email recyclingteam@ealing.gov.uk with any queries.

- Ealing Foodbank Trussel Trust Vouchers - Elthorne Park High School is able to issue foodbank vouchers to families in need. Please contact Katy Reeves for more information.
- Hobbayne Trust Uniform Support - With support from the Hobbayne Charity we are able to offer support to struggling families to purchase uniform. If you need any information please contact your child’s year leader.
- Second Hand Uniform Shop - Each half term and at large events the school holds a second hand uniform shop. Information of dates and times will be sent out via the newsletter. If you have old uniform that you would like to donate please send it in the school reception.
- Wider Opportunities Support - If you are entitled to pupil premium, each trip/event is subsidised at Elthorne Park High School. Please contact our wider opportunies team via email for more information
- City Harvest - Every Friday City Harvest distributes fresh food to school. If you are need of a food parcel please email Ms Gautam. This will be managed confidentially.
