How to Apply

External Applicants

You are an external applicant if you currently attend a different school than EPHS. You or your parents will need to create a profile on our admissions system in order to make your application. You will need your personal information, your latest predicted grades and details of someone in your current school (usually your Year Leader) who can act as your reference. Your application is not complete until your referee has completed your reference.

Applications for external applicants are open from 21st October 2026 until midnight on Friday 4th December 2026. Your application must be fully complete by this deadline to be considered on-time. This includes your referee having completed your reference.

Internal Applicants

You are an internal applicant if you are currently in Year 11 at Elthorne Park High School. The admissions platform will open for you on Monday 14th December 2026 once you have completed your PPEs and had Parents Evening. We will pre-populate most of the information you need from our management system for you on the platform. Use the link in the email you will receive or on the student intranet to access the admissions portal. All our students are given individual information, advice and guidance meetings to support them in making appropriate course choices in line with their future aspirations. These will take place in late January and early February in advance of the deadline for internal applications.

Applications for internal applicants are closed until after Parents Evening.

 

Late Applications

Late applications are only for external applicants after the deadline above has passed and can be completed at any time until the end of August 2027. The process for late applications is the same as for on-time applications and the forms are also the same. Firm offers from late applications will be made after all firm on-time offers are made in August.

Admissions Timeline

20th October 2026 - Sixth Form Open Evening (4:30pm - 7:30pm)
21st October 2026 - Application Window Opens for External Applicants 

4th December - Application deadline for external applicants

14th December - Application window opens for internal applicants (EPHS Yr11 students)

12th February 2026 - Application deadline for internal applicants (EPHS Yr11 students)

 

1st March 2027 - Conditional offers to external applicants with a fully completed (including reference) on-time application

15th March 2027 - Late applications portal available

End of March 2027 - conditional offers to internal applicants

19th March 2027 - deadline for external applicants to accept their conditional offer

22nd June 2027 - Year 12 Induction Day for all applicants who hold and have accepted a conditional offer

19th August 2027 - Results Day: Internal applicants will follow the enrolment process directly after they have received their results in school.

External applicants holding an accepted conditional offer should enter their GCSE results on the application portal, alongside documentary evidence as soon as possible on this day.  These students will be able to book an appointment for the afternoon from 12:30pm onwards to enrol.

 

20th August 2027 - Firm offers from late applications made.
